Mental capacity / modern slavery: being discussed in Parliament

There are a couple of topics of interest coming up this week in Parliament. 

On Monday 22nd, the Mental Capacity (Amendment) Bill reaches day 3 of its Committee Stage in the House of Lords.

On Tuesday 23rd the Home Affairs Committee will hear evidence on Modern Slavery. Appearing to give evidence will be Kate Roberts (Head of Office, Human Trafficking Foundation), Philippa Roberts (Director of Legal Policy, Hope for Justice), Klara Skrivankova (UK and Europe Programme Manager, Anti-Slavery International) and Kevin Hyland (former Independent Anti-Slavery Commissioner).
